Dr. Rolon-Arroyo is a clinical psychologist in Los Angeles, California (PSY30849) with expertise in assessment and psychotherapy for youth, young adults, and families. He offers empirically supported assessment and psychotherapy approaches to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of each client.
Dr. Rolon-Arroyo’s assessment work focuses on psychoeducational assessment and neuropsychological assessment (e.g., testing for accommodations, IEEs, etc…).
His clinical work focuses on overcoming issues related to posttraumatic stress reactions due to trauma exposure, grief, depression, disruptive behavior problems, and parent-child conflict. He also conducts work related to family communication, difficult life transitions (e.g., coming to terms with LGBT identity), acculturation, and adjustment issues. Dr. Rolon-Arroyo works primarily from a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) orientation, but is able to incorporate other approaches as guided by supporting research literature.
Dr. Rolon-Arroyo does not participate in any healthcare insurance plans. Nevertheless, he can provide what is known as a “superbill”, which you may submit to your insurer for out-of-network benefits coverage.

Dr. Benjamin Rolon-Arroyo (PSY30849) earned his doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst (APA Approved). His clinical training was primarily completed at university clinics and academic medical centers. Dr. Rolon-Arroyo completed his predoctoral internship at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine (Houston, TX). He then completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Trauma and Grief Center, housed at Texas Children’s Hospital. He performed psychological evaluations and conducted short and long-term psychotherapy with trauma-exposed and bereaved youth and their families.
Dr. Rolon-Arroyo lives in Los Angeles. He enjoys exploring the city and staying active.
